I am Tanner Osterkamp. I run thefiredev-cloud in Southern California, where I set up AI agents and local models for businesses and individuals.
My day job is as a firefighter-paramedic, which is why I care about checklists. A person approves anything irreversible, every action is logged, and the procedure is written down so someone else can run it.
What I build
I started TheFireDev and MeshVault in 2025. Since then I have built Protocol Guide, an EMS protocol search app, MeshVault, a private AI server install, and JudgeFinder, a judge lookup tool. I also make a few small offline iPhone utilities under thefiredev-cloud. See them on the work page.
What I run
My own machines are the test bench. Claude Code, Codex, Hermes and OMP do real work here every day, against an open model served from two NVIDIA GB10 machines and an RTX 4080 workstation. When something breaks, I usually hit it first.
How I work
